Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 50 is a
not-for-profit organization that was established on October 20th, 1966.
This Lodge was named in memory of Sergeant James S. Fogleman, who lost
his life in the line of duty on March 25th, 1963.
Jim Fogleman Lodge # 50 is proud to be a part of the world's largest Law
Enforcement Organization with over 2,100 Lodges. From it's inception in
1915, the Fraternal Order of Police has been defending the rights of Law
Enforcement Professionals and ensuring that their voices are heard and
their careers are protected.
Jim Fogleman Lodge # 50 started with a commitment to improving the
working conditions for Law Enforcement Deputies and Corrections Deputies
of the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Over the years Lodge # 50 has
expanded our commitment to all Law Enforcement Agencies and Correctional
Agencies in Palm Beach County. We strive to support the men and woman of
the Law Enforcement Profession in Palm Beach County through education,
legislation, community involvement and employee representation.
We swear to represent each and every member equally and impartially with
every available resource. We swear to maintain an open and honest Lodge
where every member's opinions are welcome and every member's voice will
be heard. We swear to make available to our Brothers & Sisters every
resource Lodge # 50 possesses.
The Jim Fogleman Lodge # 50 is dedicated to Fraternalism and the core
belief that Law Enforcement and Public Service is not a "JOB" it is a
"CALLING".
